My Playing Experience

I’ve been playing lacrosse since I was a young kid. My first experience with lacrosse was during a summer sports program. My friend and I joined it as a joke because we thought lacrosse sounded funny and had no idea what it was. Little did I know it would change my life.

I instantly fell in love with the sport and joined a little league team in my home town in Woods Cross, Utah. I played with a hot pink stick that caught as well as a trampoline would.

After that, I got a new stick and went on to play 4 years of Varsity Lacrosse for Woods Cross High School. I started out as a low defender and then hit a growth spurt and went from being one of the shortest on my team to one of the tallest. Because of my new height advantage, I got moved to doing the draw and playing midfield.

After high school, I went on to play Women’s Lacrosse at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. There, I was the draw specialist and leading goal scorer. My hard work on the field payed off and I was soon a Captain and the Vice President of the team.
