My Coaching Experience

I first started coaching while I was in high school in Woods Cross, Utah. I coached the 7/8th youth girls lacrosse team with a few of my teammates. I loved breaking down the basics of the sport and helping younger athletes learn how to utilize their skills.

After I graduated high school, while playing college ball nearby, I was offered a position at my old Alma Mater as a JV Head Coach and Goalie Coach. My job was to help JV players develop the skills needed to move onto the varsity team, as well as work with the goalies to develop the best strategies to stop the ball.

After a year with Woods Cross, I started as the Head Coach for the Weber High School Girls Lacrosse club team. As Head Coach, I worked with a group of assistant coaches to lead the team to success by teaching advanced motions, defensive strategies, stick handling skills, and field awareness. Eventually Utah decided to sanction lacrosse as an official high school sport, and the school hired me on to transition the team officially from a club sport to a high school sport. As Head Coach of a brand new school sport, I worked with the athletic and administrative staff to get the resources we needed, build a schedule, purchase gear, fundraise, and recruit new players.

After 3.5 years with Weber High I moved to Texas to begin grad school. I joined the Rockwall High School Girls Lacrosse team as Head Coach in summer of 2021, leading them to win 2nd in the State Tournament during our first season together.

There are so many incredible female athletes here in Texas who are ready to do great things. I’ve loved being able to coach more advanced strategies and work with girls so ready to work hard and progress.
